Abstract

DandyWalker syndrome is a rare congenital brain dysplasia. It is a multifactorial genetic disease with different genetic patterns and a diversity of clinical manifestations. Genetic linkage analysis and gene mapping revealed the close correlations between that the variety of phenotypes and genotypes in DandyWalker syndrome. It will help to elucidate the molecular basis of pathogenesis for DandyWalker syndrome, and provide a guide for the gene diagnosis and treatment.
