Abstract

Objective To investigate the protein expression of DNAJB6 and its clinical significance in breast cancer. MethodsImmunohistochemical staining was performed to detect the expression of DNAJB6 protein in 78 specimens of breast cancer, and the correlation between the expression of DNAJB6 protein and the clinicopathologic characteristics was analyzed.ResultsAmong 78 samples 49(62.8%) were at low expression level of DNAJB6 protein. The expression level of DNAJB6 protein was negatively correlated with the size of the tumor and histological grade in breast cancer (rs=-0.254 and rs=-0.293 respectively,P<0.05). Conclusion The low expression level of DNAJB6 protein is associated with the malignant biological characteristics of breast cancer.
