Abstract

Chemotherapy is one of the principal means of combined therapy in non-small cell lung cancer, but drug resistance is the major factor that impairs the therapeutic effect. Excision repair cross-complementation group 1 (ERCC1) is the key gene for nucleotide excision repair. Its expression and polymorphisms are related to platinum resistance, which may affect the chemotherapy sensititivity and efficacy for non-small cell lung cancer.
