摘要

Fas死亡结构域相关蛋白(Fas death domain-associated protein, Daxx)是一种高度保守核蛋白,具有4个不同结构域,在细胞凋亡和转录调控中发挥重要作用。Daxx存在两个与其生物学功能密切相关的核定位信号,为Daxx与多种蛋白相互作用所必需。Daxx与氧化应激、心肌缺血等病理生理过程密切相关,提示Daxx在心血管系统中的起重要作用。

Molecular characteristics of Daxx and  stress

Abstract:

As a highly conserved nuclear protein containing 4 different structural domains, Daxx plays a significant role in apoptosis and regulation of transcription. Two putative nuclear localization signals are associated with the diverse biological functions of Daxx and are essential for the interactions among multiple proteins. Daxx is closely related to many pathophysiological processes such as oxidative stress, myocardial ischemia insult and so on, supporting that Daxx is critical for cardiovascular system.
